About Us

Manon Prysor is Creative Director for Theatr Prysor and a professional actress and presenter. She specialises in performance, storytelling, creative workshops, and community collaborative celebratory happenings.

Manon is a professional actress in TV, Film and theatre. She worked on several T.I.E projects with Fran Wen, National Museums Wales, and Outreach, Theatre Clwyd, codevising shows and workshops for primary and secondary schools.

She has toured with theatre companies in Wales and Europe with companies such as Bara Caws and E.L.A.N Wales and worked on large scale theatre/circus community projects under the direction of Firenza Guidi and No Fit State Circus - ‘Autogedon’ and ‘Tide Fields’.

Amongst her early acting experience she appeared in the Oscar nominated film, Hedd Wyn. Recent credits have seen her in Pobol y Cwm, Rownd a Rownd S4C, Hidden BBC Wales and the American comedy documentary series 'Documentary Now'.

Manon has a Drama degree at Aberystwyth University, and is a performing arts lecturer with four years’ experience at Trinity College, Carmarthen on the B.A course, Theatre, Film and Music. She is also a qualified Welsh language tutor, Youth theatre Tutor; and an experienced Creative Agent and Creative Practitioner for the Arts Council of Wales. Presently she is a freelance creative practitioner trading as Theatr Prysor.

RHYS MWYN was born and raised in Mid Wales, in Llanfair Caereinion but he lives in Caernarfon with his wife Nêst and their children. Rhys and his brother Sion Sebon were in the Welsh punk rock band ‘Anhrefn’. They established a record label called Anhrefn Records and Rhys used to work as manager to many bands, including Catatonia. Rhys has a weekly show on Radio Cymru playing music from the 70s, 80s and 90s.

As a graduate of Archaeology at University of Wales Cardiff, Rhys has also enjoyed a career as an archaeologist and continues to lecture on the subject.

As a Wales Blue Badge Tour Guide, Rhys now leads guided walks all over Wales specialising in archaeological walks.
